Fun with your horse
Kayleen and Jamie
Kayleen and Jamie have come from very different equine backgrounds but approach and work with horses in a similar fashion - with kindness and consideration and a great understanding of welfare, biomechanics, podiatry and saddlery fitting.
Kayleen started riding with earnest at 6 years old at Braemore Equestrian Park, making her way through pony club, hunting, harness, eventing, dressage, mounted archery and working equitation. She still regularly competes with her trusty Morgan gelding Austin Powers and starts and trains young horses. Kayleen is also a human Myotherapist.
Jamie began riding at the age of 2 under the instruction of his grandfather. Jamie followed the cattleman and rodeo scene before becoming more involved with harness with heavy horses and reenactments, particularly as a bushranger in Puffing Billy holdups and many events around Victoria. Jamie is a returned serviceman Army Commando. He was involved with the Light Horse Troop and demonstrated at parades and skill at arms. Jamie was also a CFA district officer and has now retired to the farm where he has never worked so hard putting in infrastructure and maintaining the property.
