Fun with your horse

On offer at Rose River Run

Welcome to Rose River Run Equine Adventure Park. Let us spoil you for the weekend. Our rides are as follows:

Anxious trail riders

Let us pave the way for a successful trail experience for you and your horse, starting with time in our sand arena (or round yard) until you feel confident to take to the trails. We have 50 acres of bush hills and a stream on the property to get your confidence in different terrain and different equine company.

Winery rides

Ride into the Black Range via a lovely vineyard to enjoy some beautiful bush country with a stop for lunch in a gully and a tour on foot to the turquoise mines for some fossicking and story telling. On Sunday we will visit a winery for tastings (or a hot drink) and then meander into the bush to a rocky lookout over the Winery we had just ridden to. Your horse needs some fitness but the ride is not too taxing.

Advanced trails (on request)

We will head into the Black Range to tackle some technical footing up and down bush mountains and into beautiful gullies. Most of the ride will be off trails and pushing our way through the bush. It may include creek crossings, steep inclines and declines and unsteady footing. Your horse will need to be fit, calm and sensible with some exposure to difficult terrain and not prone to panic. Your horse should also be aged 5 years and older.
